Selwyn Shandel

Selwyn has 25 years experience in music and entertainment industry as a recording artist, writer, producer and executive. He headed up EMI/CCP Record Company in JHB (Black Music Division of EMI) and in 1988 established and ran his own successful Independent recording, publishing and production company Shandel Music.

He is
recognised as a leading exponent of African pop music - more than 500 of his own compositions successfully recorded & published - and has composed and Produced numerous multi-platinum and gold selling albums including 5 albums for the late Brenda Fassie, Pure Magic, Supa Frika, Steve Kekana, Condry Ziqubu, Hugh Masekela, Johnny Clegg, Sydney, The Winners & international Gospel Star Neville Diedericks.

Selwyn has c
omposed & Produced award winning commercials both locally and internationally - Beechies, Kodak, Coca-Cola, Schweppes, Iwisa, Shoprite Checkers, British Airways, Vodacom and also produced & composed Cape Town’s Olympic bid song.

He
created and produced the soundtrack for a documentary featuring Nelson Mandela for an international ANC fund raising campaign and in 1994 was requested at the time by the new ANC government to compose and produce a song entitled "One Law For One Nation" to promote South Africa's new constitution.

Selwyn formed Indigi Productions in 2003 and conceptualised, implemented and procured a multi-million rand sponsorship deal with African Bank and SABC for the successful launch of the Voice Of Choice, a vocal talent discovery project  in April 2004 including giving away 11 Mazda 3 Sport cars to the 11 contestant winners.

Indigi Productions is recognised as a major supplier of instore music and dvd’s for corporate retailers in South Africa. Clients include Woolworths, Foschini Group, Cape Union Mart.


Craig Ross

Craig is a fully qualified Audio engineer, producer, commercial radio presenter as well as accomplished voice over artist and one heck of a character. Craig is also an accomplished pianist.

After graduating top of his class @ Radio Active Productions Publishing Craig started engineering and presenting at Bay Fm in Port Elizabeth later moving onto Kingfisher Fm and then onto a commercial level at Algoa Fm.

It wasn’t long before he opened his own recording studio and served the radio and Tv advertising industry for the next couple of years. Craig eventually moved to Cape Town where he worked at B&S Studios as a Post Production Engineer and after his stint there, through shear fete, met Selwyn Shandel, and well, the rest is history.

Some of Craigs work includes Ogilvy, Jupiter Drawing Room, Saatchi&Saatchi, SABC, Mens Health, Spur, ZAPOP, Shoprite.

Craig currently presents the early morning slot on Kfm.

 




Luvuyo “VSTAR” Qubenge

Luvuyo VSTAR Qubenge a powerful and adventurous young black man coming from a township known as Motherwell situated in the friendly city of Port Elizabeth under the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality in the beautiful Eastern Cape Province.

He started his career as a performing artist singing at local music festivals hosted by the Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism such as Summer season and Splash festivals also assisting voluntarily at committee level in the Motherwell Arts & Culture Organization (MACO) an artist’s representing structure under the Recreation & Cultural Business Unit of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality including the Arrive Alive voluntary music activist for the Dept. of Transport in the PE district region.

Having studied the theory and practised as an entrepreneur from the UPE business school unit he then moved to greater heights and established his own record label after his name

As a multi-talented entertainment entrepreneur VSTAR is currently producing and promoting his new and sizzling 2010 Music Album which is relevant for the 2010 build-up programs and vibrantly gearing Mzansi public to rally behind our national team ( Bafana- Bafana) also mobilizing and coordinating various entertainment shows in townships & suburbs etc for 2010. 


Leo Large and Fritzz The Cat

Two Cape Town based music producers and djs who are renowned for their quality work in the urban music industry in South Africa. Their list of artists they have worked with ranges from Slikour, Jozi, Skwatta Kamp, Pro, JR, Jack Parow, Proverb and many more.
 
Their musical abilities exceed the creation of Hip Hop and RnB/Soul music by also incorporating elements of other genres like House, Rock, Pop, Electro, Alternative or completely unheard styles.  With years of work experience in the international music and advertising industry, we thrive to grasp a clients vision and to convert it into a musical blend of catchy melodies, driving rhythms and fresh beats and sounds."
